Erasmus +

The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work. Erasmus+ provides opportunities to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad for students and employees.

The Erasmus+ programme encourages student and staff mobility throughout Europe and promotes multilateral cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe, and between higher education institutions and enterprises. Students from our Erasmus partner universities can study for a semester or the whole academic year, in selected courses at UWB without tuition fees.

The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which has been implemented at UWB, enables foreign students to obtain credits for these courses after return to their home university. Recommended workload for Erasmus students is 30 ECTS credits per semester. More information on the various activities can be found on the website of the National Agency for European Educational Programmes (NAEP).

The Erasmus+ programme at the Faculty of Economics UWB is offered only in Pilsen, not in Cheb.
