PROJECT ANNOTATION:

This is a beta project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic – procurement procedure with competitive dialogue. A proposal of individuals is submitted in the first phase, a proposal of processing in the second phase, and a price in the third. The project is submitted in cooperation with the University of Ostrava, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Social Geography and Regional Development. The following staff members will take part in the project for the University of Ostrava: Mgr. Ondřej Slach, Ph.D. doc. RNDr. Petr Rumpel, Ph.D. RNDr. Jan Ženka, Ph.D. The ratio of costs between the University of West Bohemia and University of Ostrava will be 60/40. The bid price will be 5,000,000 CZK. Subject of the tender: Analysis of selected trends influencing the development of small towns and cities (up to 15,000 residents) and their possibilities to adapt to these trends. Processing of certified methodology and its practical verification.
